Well, my license isn't through yet but today I fell in love

Went out to size up a couple of guns as I'm looking to buy as soon as my license arrives and fell for a Winchester 'Select' Sporting.

Tried a few guns over a wide range including some of the more expensive Brownings and Berettas and nothing felt as comfy or won out over it looks wise (to my eyes).

Couldn't help but put a deposit down and will pay it over a couple of months so hopefully will be mine soon after my ticket gets here.

Any opinions on my choice welcomed :D

I've stuck a deposit on a gun i wasn't licensed for. It was actually me waiting for a variation on my FAC and the guy said he'd give it back if I didn't get the variation.

See if they'll let you stick a deposit on, on the basis your licence gets approved. I'm sure they wont mind too much if you ask.

Yeah, they were fine with it. Going to be tough waiting it out though

They are very good quality and will last you years :(
