henry d
A mate has just phoned me as he is having problems fitting the above, he is trying to twist it into place, but there seems to be too much pressure and as he is fitting a Swarovski to his rifle, he understandably doesn`t want to bend the scope !!!!!! Any thoughts guys
chrisv
I'm not keen on this system either, but haven't damaged any scopes using these rings. Leupold have a ring wrench, http://www.leupold.com/hunting-and-shootin...es/ring-wrench/ to avoid loading the scope tube too much during fitting. Perhaps a thin smear of Coppaslip on the lug to reduce friction a bit?? Edited December 12, 2008 by chrisv
