Alright lads

Iv had my S410 for about 3 years now, bloody brilliant tool and iv never had no trouble with it. I use a hawke nite eye sr6 scope which is brilliant aswell.

Recently though i started using it after about 6 months of not doing anything with it, and i cant get a decent zero group or any consistancy with it at all. The scopes fixed on proper good and not movig and the silencer is on good and proper to.

Also, the magazine isnt cycling properly either. When i pull the bolt back it only moves the pellet slot half way so i have to pull it out and do it manually which is a right **** ache!! I recon it has something to do with the indexing spring or what ever its called but dunno what to do it about it

Got the FAC version of this rifle .I only use it during the summer months ,early morning on a Golf course to be precise so its out of action for at least 9 months of the year and like yourself i too find things a bit eratic when this rifle is brought out of the cabinet after a long layoff .

Basically I go on the range and put about 200 pellets down the barrel to warm things up a bit as i find after a long layoff my power output can vary between 25-35 ft lbs but constant use returns things to normal

Your mag is not engaging the the mechanism on the rifle properly .This is either the plastic on the magazine itself is worn or the metal clip on the rfile which moves up and down is bent in to much .With some snipe nose pliers you can tweak this clip to engage the mag properly as I have had to do the same myself .

Excellant rifle :bye2:

why is everyone thinking gun problem ?

Because it is perchance?

It won't be pellets if you are using the same pellets as beforeand it won't be the scope because if it was it would be grouping ok but just not where you want them to group.

That just leaves the gun............ or you.

Regarding the accuracy problem, Iv had a s410 for the last 5 yrs now and had no problem, Suddenly this year it started acting up, I tried to zero it and found that some shots hit dead center then suddenly it threw a couple far right or let,There's a slight air leak on 1 of my seals, Only noticeable if the gun is left unused for a month or so, I charge the gun up everytime i put it away and when i get it out there is a noticeable drop on the gauge, The gunsmith has told me £90 is more than enough to replace every seal and fit a new firing valve
