gixer1
I recently bought a series 2 disco td5 and am about to drill a hole in the roof for my lightforce 170 spot light but before i do i was wondering; do the roof rails on the front part of the roof affect the spotlight beam? they look like they would be right in the way don't want to drill a hole and then find the light is no use there! i was going to go with the side mount but to be honest i prefer it in the centre of the roof. If anyone has a pic of there disco with a spotlight please post them up so i can see what it looks like! Thanks in advance! Garry

Dave-G
If it looks like it'll be in the way... methinks you already know the answer there bud.
gixer1
The reason i ask is i'm sure i've seen discos with spotlights but i want to make sure, sometimes if an obstruction is thin enough you won't notice it is there as the beam will not be interupted. Regards, Garry.
bobt
I saw a disco recently, where the sunroof was slid open slightly and a made up piece of board was fitted, into this the spotlight was fitted, when not needed the whole thing was removed. lurcherboy
Gixer, just fit a spacer to whatever size you need to clear the coffin rails LB
