Greenhunter
I have had a luger scope as a Christmas present, which was nice. I was quite happy with the Nikko so before I change over I was wondering if it would be a good or bad move. The Nikko has a milldot ret, the Luger hasn't. in fact the Luger is a fairly standard 3x9x40 so I don't really want to take a step backwards. Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received. Thanks

moneyhaw
luger are trying to present themselves as a mid/top end german scope when in actual fact they are made in the far east.
Blackbart
Nearly every scope lens is made in the far east! Just some are of a better quality than others.
Dead-Eyed Duck
I have a pair of Luger binocs, and their performance is good for the price. At the end of the day with optics you get what you pay for - the difference between top notch and the best may not be all that great during the day - it is in low light conditions that the best are worth every penny. However, if most of your shooting is during the day then medium-priced kit is perfectly acceptable. In the medium priced range personal choice and reticle design is what matters. Greenhunter
Thanks for the advice everybody.I've still not made my mind up but am wavering more to not changing at the moment. I think I'll try and compare both in low light conditions and see if there's a difference. Thanks again. Happy New Year to all!
