The Mighty .50

I know a guy who was using the wing mirror of his van as a shooting rest and he blew out the windscreen with the mussel blast , not sure what the calibre was, but it definitely wasn't a .5, just goes to show it doesn't take a huge calibre to do it.

I'm so bored of the .50 hype... Look up a .577 and I bet you'll soon forget about the cliché gun.

Cliche gun? Try the .50 in the M2 Browning variant, vehicle mounted on automatic. No forgetting that and it's true what they say - those fuzzy wuzzies don't like it up 'em!

People dont appreciate the muzzle pressure of some of the calibres in daily use,a local gun dealer and champion clay shooter had the notion that it would be ok to discharge his 223 through the open passenger window of his Mitsubushi pickup, whilst sat in the drivers seat, the result a cracked windscreen from the muzzle blast.

Has anyone seen this 2 bore (not sure what caliber that is in imperial but the bullet is 2500 grains) rifle vid then? Don't know what practical purpose it would have apart from maybe shooting the front end off a car and dislocating your shoulder, but quite amusing...
