That blonde bird was a wrong choice for the show...she was anti right from the start everybody has there own opinion...me and the misses were getting quite wound up listening to her dribble.

that whiny voice...grrrr

the guy that was enjoying the duck the most was brilliant i swear he was just winding her up on purpose...lol

The thing is what i like knowing is, that if it come to a time where meat got so expensive or there was a food shortage of any type, that i would be able to take a gun shoot what i needed , prepare the food for eating and feed my family...i love that feeling.

That blonde woman was obnoxious trying to indoctrinate everyone what to think and what to eat.

I agree though that there must be an alternative to battery farming, I am thinking that if animal welfare is not placed highly then the meat is going to taste rubbish as well. A happy killed animal is better than some battery clone.

just like when my (great)uncle was a lad, during the war... they used to take rabbits with a .410 to make up for the food shortage

Yeah I must admit I did like the chef guy who enjoyed the duck and he was like: I killed it I am a chef and now I am going to enjoy it. Also the black woman was very insightful she made some good points, combatting the blonde vegetarian telling her that it was everyone's riught to eat meat or not to eat meat.

My fathers dad, during the war used to cross breed two types of rabbit to eat, made a bigger rabbit apparently, my dad said they never went without

"In our day and age we don't need to kill animals to eat"

We take for granted that our food comes from the supermarket and anytime we want a nice rump steak or duck we can go and buy one stick it in the oven for an hour and voila. However god forbid that a natural distater, war etc ever interfere with food supplies, because most of Britain will starve within days, since poeple in this country are so out of touch with reality.

900,000 mallard shot a year..... As a wildfowler I doubt that to the end of decree.

They would have done far better to have more experienced shooters as I feel actual distance of the shooting was disputable from the camera...In other words they were shooting a lot closer than you think.

They were extremely 'kack handed,, even as novice shooters I felt it protrayed the more experienced in the sport in a poor light.

I shot three mallard and a wigeon tonite so that leaves a defecit of 897,000.......
