steve_k
i have just changed to CCI's and i have found that they only eject if they have been fired.... live rounds stay in the chamber, and it's rather scary to find that happens.... anyone on here had the same problem.... or have any info..... thanks SK
deerhunter26
hi, i have a sako quad and have same problem with winchester ammo and i think it is due to the wax coating on the bullet it doesnt do it all the time but it happens more often than not
Baldrick
Clean out the extractor slots and the claws on the bolt head with a cocktail stick/stiff brush. Then reassess whether it's the CCIs or just a coincidental build-up of lube and grime.

steve b
mine did a similar thing and would not extract fired cases as well. I needed the circular clip which holds the extractor claws replaced. All the best steve
sharpshot
hi steve , mine does exactly the same with cci and mine is new . i found that cci dosent suit my american as they make closing the bolt down quite stiff due to their thicker rim ive now switched to winchester. Giving it a good clean ( the bolt ) helps to stop them sticking espeacialy the ejector housing in the breech wich cloggs up quick
Beno
Mine did the same thing when it was new went away after awile
buchangun
My CZ .22 did the same and keeping the breach spotles did help but they should work all the time and the cz is the volvo of the gun world and should not be "round fussy" - I got my bolt serviced and a new extractor claw fitted - it cost £25 and the gun fires any round every time and ejects clean every time. These guns are known for extractor claw wear but is no big deal to get sorted.
