evilstoat
I phoned the FEO for our area to check to see if he had my mobile number, as i have been out running errands all week, and he asked if he could pop round today, naturally i said yes, he said he would be round in an hour and a half. he came round, asked a few questions, checked my cabinet, had a chat to me about basic gun saftey, then said that he was happy for me to have one...said the cert should be here in 2-3 weeks...what a result!!! and what a friendly chap had a great sense of humour too...only after the serious stuff was over...lol that was just the icing on the cake...on the 22nd my wife had our 4th child...what a couple of weeks ES is a happy chap indeed Edited January 28, 2009 by evilstoat

reedbradshaw
I love it how the SGC was the main excitement.....while the birth of your 4th child was only noted in a 1 liner....  I havnt had my SGC all that long either but i cant recommend Derbyshires FAO highly enough. Although i got the impression at times he was having a dig at me.......he kept saying "its not a test, im just educating you"

evilstoat
4th child and you think you'll be getting time to shoot  I was thinking the same thing...lol...i have to look after the misses at the moment as this was the worst birth she has had they both would have died if the quick thinking midwife and Doctors at Cheltenham Maternity ward had not acted quick enough. My hats off to them how professional they were. so i am pampering her till she's better...by then the cert willhave come through with some luck...but still it'll be the odd shoot when "it's allowed" lol I love it how the SGC was the main excitement.....while the birth of your 4th child was only noted in a 1 liner.... Happy shooting Mark P.S: congrats mate...
