no offence but if you kept your stories straight we could help you... in the title you say crossbow and in the message you say compound... they are different... it is as libs says illegal to take quarry with a bow of any sort in the uk, they are powerful... but to be honest... they take a while to cycle, they may be high power, my cousin carl has a 55lb draw strength compound bow and there is nothing wrong with them, anything can be high power, but it doesnt mean it needs licensing, i have a petrol lawn mower, but i dont need a license for it... dont worry about it, if your so annoyed that the bows dont require licensing and your FAC is taking so long get a bow and use it for targets... as libs said, they arent that concealable and dont have the same range as a rifle...

i have tried all, im a soft touch when it comes to training, i am slightly hard at times but other than that im as soft if not softer than mum with him, he is fine with me sometimes but when it comes to training NOPE he is scared ofme and i dont know why :look:

i have been trying to train the pup now for months, ive lost count on how many exactly but i have now had to start from scratch, its really hard work and its getting me down, making me think that he wont make it to the field its really down hearting, im trying to keep the sessions as fun as i can, but he obviously doesnt find them fun, as soon as it comes to training time his ears go back his tail is between his legs and he makes a path for the crate, so i either have to get him out of his crate or close the crate before its time for training to save that part, it may sound harsh but im at the end of my tether, its only me hes like this with and its now at the point were if he is still refusing to train by the end of this month, thats it, im giving up on training him, this may make me sound bad, but i have tried for months and i just cant, ill hand the leash over to mum and ask her to try, ill garuntee he will train with her, but still im saddend and im losing it, im going to give NTTF's 8 week obidience course if at the end of this there is no luck then im sorry but ill hang up the training kit for him any tips on how i can get him to like me more, because that is the problem, he likes my mum more, and he just bloody hates me, i have never hit him, or raised my voice directly at him, i have before raised my voice (ok full blown yelled) when he has been in the room, and i think this could be a reason, but PLEASE im at a loss, someone can you tell me how i can make my pup like me more, mum spoils him, but i dont want to do that as i want him to be strong trained rather than a wussy little over spoilt lump.... someone please i beg, nay, PLEAD for some tips, im absolutley losing it, (btw i dont get angree towards the dog in training i usually end up beating myself up about it afterwards) PLEASE i really want to see him working one day but he has forgotten all previous training, ill get some pictures of how he acts in training and ill post them, to give you an idea please SOMEONE anyone.... be careful with the citronella oil you will look like you have spent to long at the local chippy if you go out with that **** on, eurax cream is a life saver removes the itch in a few seconds and its bloody life saving, have a cool shower before you go to bed aswell (it helps) and jungle fever spray works, i dont like spraying it before getting into bed so get the plug, or Surplus and adventure do a coil thing, you put it in the holder (or just on the window sill) and it repels the mozzies geuss it works for gnats, if that doesnt work, GARLIC have something garlicy before bed (i know it dont sound great but trust me) it seems to work alright, although the missus might not be to appreciative of you being in the bed :blink: sofa for you... or you could get a full blown mozzy net and hang it over your bed

the idea is to pluck around the breast dave... this is so that obviously the breasts are nicley ready to be cooked... (i have watched the video but have forgotten... if it was fully plucked it was probably because he fully plucks them and then decided to make a video for the requests... probably just how it happened hope that helped...

http://www.japanese-koi.co.uk/ these are near me GREAT people its a big place and they seel everything from HUUUGE koi to baby 1 inch long koi they have a reptile thing and everything... seriously mate its worth ringing them they will tell you what you need to know... i love the place they have a pond out side (pretty deep) and the koi in there are HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE i mean im talking 20 - 25lb maybe more they sell ponds and pond making stuff they sell all you would need to keep them... ring them and then one weekend if you get the chance come down and look around its cool (they have parrots and stuff aswell :yp: they talk and the parakeet swears if you encourage it i didnt tell him to do it I SWEAR) (they have these 2 mini crocs they are SOO COOL they eat crickets and they are so cool to watch...) update, well today i went back to school after the half term (how exciting) and i have found out a new development... when i turned my back and began to get away and left frank (thinking he was following me when he wasnt) he told me that they ended up getting his wallet off him... he lost his wallet and £5 (ok its only a fiver but i mean STILL its not how much it was that counts) im a bit sketchy on descriptions at the moment (alot of the idians around here look the same) the white lads i could easily describe (well not easily but you know what i mean) if i saw them again i would be able to tell STRAIGHT OFF... and i wouldnt approach (im no *******) id hang around in the distance and ill get hold of the police... im still not sure about getting hold of the police (could cause more hassle than its worth) this little mugs need there heads knocking... if i get the chance i will... but like i say im no idiot so id like to keep my head down for now and just take it a step at a time.... if i have any more trouble ill phone my bro and then ill phone to ol' bill... this needs sorting... not long till REAL vigilantes are around and they will be the "nice ones" that will say run along lads (to those being picked on) then will nicely take the others for a walk to the nearest ally were heads will be knocked together.... thanks for the help guys you have really put my mind to rest... off out for a run now (down the river, no one goes down the section i go) going to take the dog out aswell... my dog isnt big, but i dont like the idea of getting a "big dog" to make me look hard... you usually find those that are most ruthless are those who look as nice as pie... you see now i fancy a beef and onion pie....
