Bazooka Joe
Had an order for another Priest, so I got to work. Cut the Stag Horn to length 9" Aprox, drilled & leaded the end, bit extra weight, fitted end caps on both ends, made out of Cherry, buffed them up, then a Decorative Brass Bead to finish off, on both, + a Brass Name Tag that can be engraved. The Nylon Land yard is for decoration only, not the right colour for the purpose in the field, needs to be swapped for a Leather Lace, then fit a small Toggle to finish off. A Four Pointer came my way, so I decided to do something with the Antlers....I Mounted them onto a Solid Oak Oval Base with a Oval Name Plate, Stained & Polished it, fitted the Antlers, one side was damaged so I capped it off with Buffalo Horn with a Brass Bead, + a Salmon Fly. A Nice Presentation Piece. BJ.
