Nicky
I've stopped tapping her nose roost, now doing what you said. Worked over night, she'll take all the handling now.
the pelt man
I get your point. I must say that Bud my Hob was obtained from the RSPCA as a stray and is one of the best that i have had. He is called Bud as he looks just like the Ferret that gets the frogs in the Bud ad.

SNAKEBITE
Had a couple of ferrets a few years ago. Never worked them. I used to take the hob out for walks on his lead. He used to love grubbing in the hedges, and it was good exercise for him. MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM INNOCULATED They can pick up the same diseases as dogs . If you mix the hobs and jills get the hob a vasectomy. He can still do the honours but will make you lots of little ferrets! Lovely *******, makes me want another one! Oh and as far as I'm concerned hobs are more laid back than jills. Jills are more ruthless , typical women!

coney hunter
Got my two from the RSPCA work well and are very tame. Paid about £30 for the two, which is a bit steep for a ferret but considering they were both spay & neutered and a microchip put in the both of them, it isn’t to bad. :o Happy hunting
