Cranfield
I am not a cartridge "tart", but have always hit things when using Gamebore cartridges and that does for me. I use 24gm fibre White Gold XLR's for clays (£146 per 1000) and currently 30 gm fibre Super Game Extreme for pigeons and everything else (£156 per 1000). Guest topshot_2k
i have used various brands and some perform differently, clear pigeon was one of my favourite cartridges but they dont cycle in an auto I also used to use Eley game cartridges for pigeon shooting but they just didnt kill as cleanly as gamebore or express game cartridges
Wiggum
I was using both eley HB Pigeon and Express Pigeon special the last time i was pigeon shooting and the pigeon specials won 11 birds to 1 so i will be sticking to the pigeon specials from now on .For clays i use olympics at £128 x 1000 and never had a problem with em. casts_by_fly
For 40 yards and under where most shots are taken, if you center the pattern and have even a reasonable cartridge for the application you'll kill the game. For rabbits and pigeons you'd be fine with #4 up to #7.5's from 21 to 36 g from any manufacturer. Give it a 1/2 choke and go shooting. Or put another way, pick the one that is (a) the cheapest, ( cleans the easiest, or © has the right color case. Choose based on whichever is important to you, Thanks, Rick
