Carbonrocket
Where did you get the trigger locks from will they fit a sako 85? From my local Shop Brom Sports in hereford. They are stamped with 'DAC' £18 for three in a pack. They do go quite wide. libs
Trigger locks are a great idea, esspecially when, like yourself, you have kids around. Nice looking set ups.

Lloyd90
"Mick the agg gets his revenge" "You ******" haha pretty funny mate, just watch there's a backstop behind you
Carbonrocket
Yes I agree about the backstops. Gotta watch out for pellets going astray. The site is about 50 acres and only us two there. The pellets would have to have the hand of god to get them near to any public areas. Carbonrocket
looks good, what make is your NV set up? where did you get it from? Cheers Toby Thanks The NV is the Yukon NVRS1 with rifle scope attachment comes with a powerful IR emitter. Good for up to 40m max best at 15-30 m. 20m is really the best. Ideal for Air rifles in and around farm buildings, sorting out rats at phesent feeders and penns. The advantage is you can take it off the rifle in seconds and use it handheld with its own built in emitter, then refit it and refocus it in about 1 minute! The Ultra now has a BSA VC silencer and it is really whisper quiet and does not spook livestock. Up over 200 rats now in a few months. Rabbits dont like it much 6 in one early evening session in the dark. Carbon
blacta
is it an expensive piece of kit? Where did you get it from? Is the NV scope supposed to attach to the normal scope? PLease answer all Q's Cheers Toby Edited February 27, 2009 by blacta
Carbonrocket
is it an expensive piece of kit? Where did you get it from? Is the NV scope supposed to attach to the normal scope? PLease answer all Q's Cheers Toby No its not expensive about £190-£220 total off Ebay IF IF IF you take the risk like me. It fits on a scope and gives you night vision up to 40 m but 20- 30 m is best. I got mine off E bay but!!! Its a long way to the Ukraine if some one rips you off. £280-£300 from local shops. Several hundred Rats have now died due to this. Tidy. Carbon

Carbon If you stuck a IR Filter on a lightforce lamp I think you might extend that range to about 400 metres mate OFC You need a lightforce 170 and a £70 IR filter
Carbonrocket
I see the IR filters available but have no experience are ther really good? No visible light just IR? Carbon
Orkney Gun
:( Great video as for the Ukon NVRS1 My employer bought several and we use them here on the estate. We dont have fox, stoat weasel, hedghog, snake like you down there as we are on Orkney island but we do have rat which we control out of barns, outhouses etc when the time permits.Night vision varies with the type of scope obviously, but the Ukon NURS1 is adequate.
