jim_whitson
Jesus... I knew driven shooting was expensive, but I never realized quite *how* expensive...
pigeon master
Jim, try to get to know a few land owners, these will usually have there own shoot. Its a great way to get into it and the cost is nothing compared to these £25 bird days. It costs me £250 for the season, with no extras barring the £1 in the hat for the number of birds shot on the day. You always get a brace to take home aswell If you have a dog, offer a beating service, its what I did and the next available place that pops up could be yours. These days are not the formal shoots like some of the bigger estates but as a novice its a great way to learn the do's and dont's. You will stand a better chance of getting some rough shooting too. Good luck, The PM Shooting's abit like business, network, network, network, the more networking you do the shooting you get.
