Mungler
If you need a lift to collect your new motor I will probably need a decent excuse to escape the house
ME
If you need a lift to collect your new motor I will probably need a decent excuse to escape the house I have already told Markio that you are driving and buying the teas I was gonna get a lift off Mrs LV, but if you can swing a pass then that's even better Right then young Markio, you are the host, where and when mate ?...... Markio
Bloody hell i'd better get some bacon in!! You have PM, my local ones run every alternative Saturday, you picked the wrong Saturday!
Markio
For Colchester (ish) shoots all i have are these: Parkford Shooting Ground (Skeet and small compak sporting) Clacton Shooting Ground (Not sure what they are running on Saturday if anything. No answer on phone as yet) Radcliffes (Sporting but wasn't that impressed on my first outing) EDIT: Starts at 1pm. Bit late for me and suspect you LV. What time do you think you'll be coming down? Like i said, if all else fails i can put the kettle and bacon sarnies on. Edited March 4, 2009 by Markio
poontang
100 bird reg. sportrap at Clacton, small sporting layout and practice. Gets pretty busy there though so could be a bit of a wait. I've shot it a few times and can be quite tough, but certainly entertaining! Parkford, as mentioned by Markio, mainly skeet, but compact sporting too. Not sure about Radcliffes. Markio
What do you think of the plethora of choices before you? It really looks like Parkford is the only choice to be honest mate. If you fancy a round of skeet and a round on compak then i'll be up for it.

Markio
Good to see you all again, always a great laugh, and having only met Poontang once previous to say hello it was good to have a shoot and chat. And yeah, the compact there isn't all that but to be fair i haven't seen many (or any!) good setups.

poontang
Great morning, good bunch of guys and good craic (apart from EE's crack!! I reckon you've got the 'pump' challenge sewn up mate!!) Nice to meet LV and EE for the first time. Good to see Mung and Markio again. Skeet was ok, and the compact was interesting, 3 birds in the air at the same time was a little confusing to say the least. Thanks for the go with the Blaser Mung, nice gun, if a little short for me. Nothing a few inches of MDF couldn't sort out though!!
