well i got a new phone almost a year ago and after a couple of weeks i managed to break it.

when i turn it on now i get coloured lines down the left hand side on the screen. it broke when i was strimming, i have managed to break two phones in the same way so hopefully they can be fixed. it seems a waste to throw them away if they can be fixed as i only used it for a couple of weeks.

so my question is can it be fixed? has anyone else had this trouble

i will try to put some photos up later on.

thanks

charlie

Depending on how you damaged it and where you bought it from you could have it repaired for free. If its obvious that you've 'abused' it (i.e. there are strimmer scars all over it!) then you're knackered but if its something that could have been a technical fault that the phone developed 'itself' (honest gov :/ ) most shops will repair it for you for nothing. Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U definately do.

My suggestion, don't carry your phone when strimming if you've already broken 3 doing it :hmm::lol:

thanks for advice guys. just seems a shame to throw away a nice phone.

the phone was in my pocket when i was strimming so has no marks on the screen just the stupid lines. it was a gift from someone else so i have no idea where it came from.

i spose ur right lol, i will have to find somewhere safer to keep my fone when strimming.
