grasshopper
Way to go again lads, your racking them up this month John, giving me the urge to get out and nail a few myself. Getting no probs with them at the moment and there are a few about, although lambing has only just started here,so maybe worth checking aroundd them fields Shame about the miss, happens to the best of us...and you Another goood report of another good foray..keep them coming mate

grasshopper
Cheeky *** Ye must start lambing kind of late like here so, thought ye'd have decent land over there We have,it,s the weather "upt norf" usually into April before it,s in full swing around here! Was going to leave them be till July apart from any problem ones..

markbivvy
I was going to say I'd like to be able to leave them until July, but I won't be out in July, did summer lamping before, never again I didn't get any sleep! Same problem here as you got, lambs and fox cubs arriving at the same time. It's 50/50 at the moment with people concerned about hens and lambs, if we don't go we won't be asked again. Cheers Mark, you up to much lately mate? extremely quite hear John, not had a call for two weeks now. usually a prelude to all hell breaking loose. good luck mate. tikkamark
Excellent stuff yet again john, your really racking them up now Great to see your remmie is really doing the buisness after spendin all the euros on that setup Are you still feeding her hornady v-max 40's?? I got three the last night i was out with shane last week all dogs it was a good productive night they were all 150-170yrds away and i had a miss on one i called in to 200yards i was'nt sure if it would come any closer so i got steady and squeezed....still gutted at that miss A farmer i met out while shooting bunnies last sunday was onto me to try and nail a fox that has been hitting his lambs really hard but as luck would have it with this nice calm weather we have been having its been foggy since its very annoying because if he looses more lambs because i cant nail the fox he might ask someone else but what can ya do! I've just got cracking on the magpie traping and its going very well i made a top-entry larsen and already have the 4 compartment side entry there catching good numbers of maggers daily My friend tomas made a really cunning 3 compartment dedicated grey crow trap it really is the dogs danglies Its an idea thats been developed and tweeked over the last few years by a fella up the road and it now works a charm...might make one of my own soon

grasshopper
They seem to be coming out of the woodwork at the moment John.Your doing a grand job of it Luckily i,ve had no calls yet,on nights this week, but may have a wander before work just to check the situation. 1 farm has had a dead lamb taken, but that was left as bait and there are lots of badgers over there,so no real threats as yet. Another enjoyable read, well done to the pair of you
