WGD
Open as you can get it, a variable choke is no better - skeet choke is as open gets, put one in both barrels and get going

BigG
Some manufacturers multi choke Skeet is positive 5 thou so more open than true Cylinder! Just depends on the amount of restriction, but skeet or Cylinder will do the job. If you shoot them late maybe 1/4 in the top barrel? Peter De La Mare
Cylinder and Skeet, and Steel 9s, don't need anymore.
paulos
Steel?? Bah! Rubbish (Opens can of worms, sits back and sips coffee ) As said - Skeet or Cyl is just the job. 1/4 won't handicap you a great deal either Edited March 13, 2009 by paulos

Mucker
I use 1/4 and skeet chokes in my Beretta shooting skeets and i average 21. But that said, my nearly 25 year old Winchester Game gun with fixed chokes of 3/4 and Full chokes still gives me an average of 21. Skeet is easy to do... So it doesn't matter what gun or chokes you use, it's where you pull that trigger!! Edited March 14, 2009 by Mucker
poontang
what choke would you recommend for skeet , is a variable choked gun better ? So there we have it. cylinder and cylinder cylinder and skeet skeet and skeet skeet and 1/4 1/4 and 1/4 3/4 and 3/4 3/4 and full obviously never, EVER use 1/2 for skeet. Confused?.........................................you should be!!
