gun shooting low

new to hobbie -yust brought a bsa super 10 /and a hawk scope from local dealer. he fitted scope on gun.

went home happy -thought i'd have a few shots at a target but gun is shooting about 2 and a 1/2 inches low at 20 yards - rung shop- zeroed scope as per instructions and still low even with adjuster fully up-any advise for fix --if not i can go back to shop no prob- yust a little dissapointed !

it might not be putting enough air through when you pull the trigger. get it back to the shop, and ask them to check it out. :yes:

:lol: Rch/Martin could this be a case of the rear scope mount needing to be undone and a thin packing piece placed under it and then replacing the top piece of the scope mount :lol: thin piece of negative film, tin foil, paper, etc you get the picture :yes: Edited by unclemicky

I seem to remember that for best results you need to screw the adjusters all the way one way and then count the turns until it stops the other-then set the scope half way-the mounts (check that they are the same height) should then be shimmed to bring the scopes impact to average centre. :yes:

took back to shop-thought they should fix it really --having spent nearlly 700 quid.

didn't get same interest when i took it back as when they sold it me .

sopost to be a rep dealer as well!!

said they won't be able to look until middle of next week!

my mate said should have told them to stick it and ask for money back !

That's disgusting. i spent 350 on a cheap shottie from my local gunsmith, had a problem with it he told me to fetch it down that day and he would sort it for tomorrow, So after you spending 700 and not doing anything about it for over half of a week i would demand my money back
