Beans

Yesterday we drove down to oxfordshire to a farm where the farmer had just drilled beans on thursday.

Upon arriving there; there were about 60 blackies and 30-40 pigeons wandering about the field.

Sat and watched for flight lines and had to set up with the wind blowing left-right and put 2 sets of decoys out.

Had 12 crow deeks straight in front of the hide and 10 and a floater pigeons to the far left.

The wind was blowing quite strong and we shot until about 1.00pm when the birds stopped flying in.

Picked up 38 blackies and 17 pigeons.

We then drove back to warwickshire and had a look around quite a number of fields but nothing doing anywhere so we went to a roost wood and shot another 7 blackies.
