crieffy
Hi All, Here's a couple of pics of my baby.. Just got the stock a couple of weeks ago - feels great! Just waiting for some better weather so I can start thinning out the bunny population again. Edited March 17, 2005 by crieffy
dunganick
im a 10/22 hater if ever there was one, but that is a good looking rifle, you got a list of the drop in parts?
crieffy
I've been adding bits to it for the last couple of years now.. here goes: Percy Engineering integrally suppressed barrel CPC head-spaced bolt, also added a pin to secure the front of the firing pin Barracuda stock CST 'last shot hold open' thingy Volquartsen target hammer, trigger and extractor WeaponKraft bolt buffer Power Custom extended cocking handle Weaver scope base with Millet angle-loc rings Simmons Whitetail Classic compact scope It shoots pretty good now - the two biggest improvements were the Volquartsen hammer (trigger pull is about 2.5lb now) and the bolt buffer got rid of that annoying 'clack' when the bolt recoils. apbuild
Did you glue the two magazines together or were they bought like that? I used to shoot a 25 shot banana mag in my Ruger, but since fitting a 'Rimfire Magic' barrel with a match chamber, rounds just do not cycle through it. I have gone back to the ten shot rotary mags. crieffy
Hi Rob, They're held together with an E+LM dual clip holder, which I bought from hawktecharms.com. Most of the other bits came from them as well - good service and quick delivery too. John

crieffy
Hi Skinkus, You need to use the modified factory mags for it to work. I bought one then did my other three with my Dremmel tool - only takes a few minutes. Wouldn't work with the Butler Creek 25 rounders though - the design is slightly different unfortunately. skinkus
yeah i thought as much the plastic on the butler and creek ones is probably to week to start sanding bits of i always seem to break mine! so when i was in the states i brought 10 standard mags for not alot of dosh! so is your 10/22 not moderated? do u use it for anything else gallery rifle etc?? Lurch
Cracking looking rifle. I'd be 'fraid to take something that pretty in the field.
crieffy
It's actually pretty light to carry - the actual barrel is 14" and it's thinner than a standard barrel. Even with the sleeve and baffles it's about the same weight as a normal sporter barrel. Will post a pic of the internals later...
