seisobs
Out on a field of barley today which was drilled on Sunday. Roost wood behind me, set up my new stealth camo net in front of a pine tree. Set up my magnet, 8 dead birds on cradles and a bouncer from Greenhunter. Was set up by 09:30, wind from L to R varying between 10 and 20 MPH. First woodies came in a few mins later, birds were coming in on average every 10 mins in 1's and 2's with the odd group of 5 or 6 most of the day with a lull between 11:30 and 14:30. To cut a long story short, ended up at close of play with 60 woodies and 1 crow. Recon I fired just over 200 cartridges, getting rid of some old carts so was using 28 gram # 7.5 Should have used 30 gram #6, would have had more as a lot of them were at max rang. All in all a brilliant day. Will post osme pics when I find out how to work this new camera!!! JAKE
