Hi

Just bought a second hand mk38 sporter m/c. I am told that on this model you can adjust the trigger travel.

Could anyone explain how!

Not sure about its date of manufacture either so is there a site to find out how old etc?

Regards

Do you mean the position of the trigger itself? My browning has this option, if that what you mean then there's a small hex bolt under the top section of the trigger itself, undo this a touch and you can slide the trigger forward and back in about 3 stages/notches. I have a long(ish) fingers and found it more comfortable to have it set at the most forward point.

I don't think MK38 triggers are adjustable. Nice guns - I have one myself.

2. Date of Manufacture

is a two digit code Z=1

Y=2

X=3

W=4

V=5

T=6

R=7

P=8

N=9

M=0

Check the two letters on your gun - probably under the top lever when you open the gun up.
