magnamaniac
Hello all, Was wondering if anyone had shot clays in Turkey and could tell me of any good sites. My parents live there, and I visit regularly and i'd like to keep my hand in. Any help would be appreciated. Woody
Windknot
I was in a gunshop in Bodrum once- trouble was they didn't speak English, and I had no Turkish. I didn't see any clay shooting paraphenalia, but this was just one small shop in a small town in a very big country. Let us know if you find any shooting in Turkey, clays or otherwise. I love the place, and wouldn't mind a bit of shooting when we go again.
Chard
My sister-in-law used to go out with a Turkish bloke We used to give him some stick, but he was a nice lad really He was a game/rough shooter in Turkey and when he came over on one of his visits, I took him to Worsley. Laaaaaaarf. He knew of clay shooting, but had never been, so I don't think there are many opportunities in Turkey. When he saw the targets, he thought I was joking. He didn't consider they were hittable, and needless to say, he didn't hit many He thought we were barking mad trying to hit stuff like that, and he went very quiet when we showed him how it was done I can't remember where in Turkey he was from, but they certainly didn't shoot clays there

rondald
Hi, I own a Villa in Bodrum and will find out what I can when I go over again in May. The Turkish people are shooting mad hence there isn't much wild life left to shoot. I guess the only option left to them is clay shooting. I know one of the prestigous complexes shoot clays, possibly many more. I will post my findings on my return. Ron
