poorpeet
Hi all, I have had my first gun for a few weeks now and been to a couple of clay shoots. Now that I have shot off 120 odd carts I have got used to handling the gun but I want to have a lesson before I develop bad habits. I'm after some recommendations as to who to take lessons from in the South east. A friend of mine went to a big schooldown here and was less than impressed. In any case I don't have that kind of money to spend. Any thoughts anyone?
Cranfield
West Kent Clay Ground is the place I would recommend. http://www.wkss.demon.co.uk/

njc110381
I got some basic lessons from a guy at my local club. For a beginner I'd just say pick someone who is very good and ask them to help. It's not as good as having lessons from a pro but it can really help you. A guy in my club qualifies for all the top shoot offs and does fairly well in them. He's no George Digweed but from what I hear he has beaten him a few times! Him and his mates helped me and I improved a lot. If I could just do as I'm told I'd be much better. They keep telling me I'm too lazy. If a clay seems too hard I can't be ***** to try to get it so I give up
