Spaniel
I was looking my self and the Cabella ones were 5mm plus had extra chest protection and i think they also had loops for handles so you could lift them etc and the ones i found over here were 3mm neoprene
Lancs Lad
Being a diver, there aint much difference between 3 and 5mm neoprene on the surface, it makes a difference when you are are underwater though. A NOTE OF CAUTION. NEOPRENE will hold in heat, belive me, ive just been sat on the side of a lake waiting to go in and been sweating like a....... you know what. Bear that in mind when you have it on your dog, would suggest that you heed that comment in order to prevent pooch from overheating. If you are fowling with pooch and its the depth of winter, then this will help to keep them a bit warmer, if you are working him in the early season on a beating line then I wouldnt touch one with a barge pole. You just try sticking a 3mm wetsuit on and run around like a loon. If you are concerned about pooch sitting and shivvering then take a towel in your game bag and give him a rub down when you are sat having your lunch break. Take some water and a "doggy snack" for pooch. Jaz often sits there "quivering" but thats because he wants to get back to work.
Spaniel
Good point, i was thinking about getting one for the Springer while wildfowling in the winter as last season it was really cold down on the Bristol Channel on some occassions
mikee
ive got a couple of the country mun neoprene dog coats, they love wearing them, they fit nice and snugly on a lab not like that poor old springer on their web site, they have a stall at most of the country fairs and you can have them fitted to your dog mikee
