proTOM1
had a call from a farmer about pigeons on a rape field that has big patches eaten away , so off i went to find a good stream of birds heading in to the smallest patch on the field . in the end i set up so i could drop the birds in to the field next to it ( spring wheat) so not to lose to many set up with a flapper and 2 bouncers and straight away they poured in did not think there would much point in taking that many catridges big mistake at 4 pm ran out and so for the next hour watched the birds as they came in the set up and land ,even feed was a good day out with a nice breeze and some sunshine . picked 93 lost 12 in the high rape a fair few young birds where shot today nice to see there at it ! so dont forget if you have bad patches in the rape to keep an eye on them cheers Tom
CZ550Kevlar
I`m off out tomorrow, was looking at the possibility of a bean field but looks like i will drive by the rape to see if anything shows its head.
