woodystock
Hello all, l have been looking all over but cant seem to find what l am looking for. What is the most grams of shot my 31/2 inch magnum Benelli shotgun will throw out of it and what size shot?? I have had 56 gram 3 inch AAA's before which were lethal, is there any 60- 70 grams knocking about in 3 1/2 inch? Don't ask me why l need them l just like experimenting as we all do now and again, and because l can! If any of you could tell me of a supplier that would be great, also do you know if ya can buy shells from the states and get them sent to a Gunshop in the UK?? Thanks a lot Edited April 24, 2009 by woodystock
notsosureshot
Sounds like some weird S&M thing. lol Largest I've heard of is 56 which is practically a cannon anyway. For anything larger, buy yourself a 10 bore or if you're Richard Branson, a 4 bore. Just dont expect to be standing in the same place both before and after you pull the trigger. Ouch just about sums it up. Edit: Express Game do some - Mirage 66g 3.5". Shot sizes 2-4. Edited April 23, 2009 by notsosureshot
MC
I had some Mirage 66gr in no.4 lead cartridges in a 3.5" case. The recoil is fairly hard even through a Beretta Extrema semi auto.
casts_by_fly
http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=392578 66 grams of #6 (or 5 if you prefer). Turkey loads. I've seen loads at 2.5 oz (71 gr) in the past also. With a tight choke you can have a turkey load for 60 yards. Thanks Rick
