allthegearandnoidea
This might be a very stupid question but I have just bought an Edgar Brothers bipod for my Anschutz 1417 rifle and have no idea how to attach it. If anyone could tell me how to attach it I would be very grateful. Cheers.

Baldrick
It attached to the sling swivel stud on the fore-end. You need to unscrew the knurled wheel, pushing the finger-like bits of metal through the rectangular hole in the main plate of the bipod. These two finger thingies have a stud each, point towards each other. These little studs engage in the hole in the sling swivel stud. You then screw in the knurled wheel, pulling the bipod up flush against the fore-end, increasing the pressure until it is firmly seated. It may be easier to show you with photos. Does it not some with instructions?
allthegearandnoidea
No, there are no instructions, that is hpw I thought it attached but the 'teeth' didn't seem to open up enough to to go around the stud. Think I have sorted it now though. Thanks for the help.
njc110381
They are often a pain in the butt to get on and off. I your stud is too far into the stock it will be really hard to get on. Try unscrewing the stud half a turn and see if it goes in then. It will get easier as you use it and you get the hang of getting it on and off.
