wattsowatts
Hi, Has anyone got experience of a Classic Doubles 12 gauge Model 92 (Sporting), I have been offered the opportunity to purchase one but cant find much info about them? dodeer
I had one a few years ago. A well made gun and handled nicely. can be a bit difficult to find spares if they break but hardly ever do. Sold mine a knackered 30" m/c sporter for £200. I should imagine a vgc one would be worth £500-600.
The Burpster
There was a review of these in the "sporting gun" a couple of years ago.... Very good relaible Japanese O/U from teh same or similar factory that made teh 101 model for Winchester IIRC, and that was a peach of a gun too.. Hardwoods Green
The model 92 was an Italian made Classic Doubles that were imported by Anglo Italian arms in Worcestershire somewhere, JLS arms in Wednesbury carry the spares thesedays, good value guns but remember to check the ejectors for cracks, it's an achilles heel
Gordon R
Made by Silma in Italy - from memory. Adequate, but not a patch on the Japanese made model 101s.
