Trex
Unlikely I would think as any .17 centrefire reloaders here will more likely be using Ballistic Tips but- should anyone of you guys be buying or have bought in the past .17FMJ or .17FMJ HP type tips, could you possibly sell me a handfull of tips so that I can make up some "INERT" sample .17 centrefire rounds. It would get me out of a bind and save me purchasing a full box. Ballistic tip are verboten to me. Cheers. Newsportshooter
If you get really stuck give the guys at Country Pursuits (Rickmansworth) a call I know they reload .17 with ballistic tips they might sell you a couple (again only if you have no joy on here for free)
Rem223
Does anyone manufacture FMJ in 17? Hollow points and BT's are no problem. I have never seen a 17 FMJ I can't see there would be much demand.
casts_by_fly
CCI sells them loaded in HMR carridges, so someone makes them. The problem will be getting any. Someone on another thread was looking to order some HMR's. You could order a box with him (or just buy a few) and have the bullets pulled. Alternatively, you could call up gunhaus in the US and see if they have any. They are subcaliber specialists. I'm sure they'd sell you a handful for a few bucks plus post. Thanks Rick
