lefty22
Im looking to buy a decent scope for my air gun. Around £100 mark. Any thoughts on the Bushnell Banner 3-9x50 or a better scope for my money? I want a simple scope with no paralax. Cheers
tweedledee
make sure it is a genuine banner.lots of cheap copies about.i had a 3-9-50 banner.very good optics but the cross hair was a little thick for my liking.if memory serves me right it was a fairly large scope as well.you could do a lot worse.here s a pic to let you see the size
Loki
Wotcha, You may want to see if SGC still have any Bushnell Legend 5-15x40? scopes - being given away at the price and a couple of 'notches' up on the Banner range. These are mil-dot reticle only tho'. Cheers

badshot
Got a 6-18*50 banner on my quad and can only fault it on the fact that the parralax adjustment is not side adjust other than that it is a lot clearer than a hawke nite eye that i looked through before settling on the banner. Last i saw they were available for about £125 from optics warehouse.
lefty22
Thanks alot everyone. just looking round and im wondering if i would be better off with a fixed power scope rather than an ajustable, range would be no more than 35-40 yards max. lefty
