.410 choke?

Hi,

Getting a Baikal s/b .410 soon which comes in fixed choke either 1/2 or Full.

Whats the best choke for a .410? I'm thinking full so I can shoot bunies out bit further with the tighter pattern. :(

Does the full restrict shot size/load? :)

Also it will be used by my mum for a small amount of clay shooting ;)

Thanks,

Toby

I'd go with the full choke. It won't restrict your choice of shot or loads unless you are going to be using steel shot or buck/slugs (unlikely!). Like you say, the pattern on a .410 can look a little 'threadbare' as the distance increases so you could really do with a good amount of choke to maintain your pattern density.
