Jim Sarakun
It looks to me as though it was making an emergency landing. Look carefully at the propellers and you will see that they are not turning...
Imperfection
Were you shooting anywhere near Cambridge, cos Marshalls service the C130's there. We often see then taking off from the airport from our shooting ground I was shooting on the edge of fens, but thinking-it would have come from Cambridge direction.Odd thing is,a Chinook chopper came from opposite direction soon afterwards which would have come from Peterborough area. Both of them though were flying low and its not like they were avoiding military aircraft cos both Wyton and Alconbury stopped flying (except Wyton which uses Cessnas for training RAF pilots). Ozzy Fudd
It looks to me as though it was making an emergency landing. Look carefully at the propellers and you will see that they are not turning... its probably just the photo doing that I was shooting on the edge of fens, but thinking-it would have come from Cambridge direction.Odd thing is,a Chinook chopper came from opposite direction soon afterwards which would have come from Peterborough area. Both of them though were flying low and its not like they were avoiding military aircraft cos both Wyton and Alconbury stopped flying (except Wyton which uses Cessnas for training RAF pilots). brampton/wytn use grob tutors for training (usually air cadets and uav's), but wouldnt be surprised if the herc was dropping of off something important over there
