polester
I use a deben mini pro with a dimmer. I find this spot on as you can turn it down so you just see the reflection of their eyes. It give enough light for about 3hrs of ratting if not left on all the time
Markio
Do a search for UltraFire WF-501B Cree R2-WC flash light. I'm thinking of going for one of these with a pressure switch too. The standard light has a clickie on/off switch at the back of the lamp but the pressure switch replaces that back screw in module to give you a stock mounted switch via a coil cable. Also fitted to barrel/scope (i hope!!) with a Universal Nylon Mount. All cheap too (£20 for the lot delivered i hope) and i hoping good enough for shotgun/air rifle ranges. If you want links PM me and i'll forward what i've found. EDIT: Google search i mean. Edited May 8, 2009 by Markio
anim al
logun ones are ok,,but have to lug the battery as well, ive been using a ledray, wich is nice and light ,,does the job,,although for the price i thought it would have been better. a lot of people are saying that the tesco cree torches are just the job. and you can get some of the filters to fit without too much trouble. the deben range are good ,, all depends on your budget. personally, for ratting,if i hadnt already got my ledray,, i would try the tesco 1 cheers al
amateur
I bought a small LED torch from Tesco's and mounted it with a conventional light mount on top of my sight. It lights up bunny eyes beautifully at up to 30 yds and has a convenient rear switch Torch! As the mount was as expensive as the torch, try this from the recent posting As supersonic said, i google it and found one for £1.72 delivered. Just order one. Let see what happens. Hopefully it'll mount on my pump action barrel/magazine in a suitable fashion for under £2! Here you go.

carld41
I got a logan lamp 6v and deben tracer 12v Prefer the deben as the batteries fix to the stock and I can dim it also. Use an orange filter on the lamp for the rats on my shoots.

celticwar
I use the deben stinger. find it good for rabbiting, and rats I use new batteries for rabbiting older ones for rats so the light is dimmer
