DustyIrl
Ha ha Let me just say first off, i like Hatton, And have the utmost respect for him. But i believe he's past it. I dont think he ever recovered from that bollix mayweather. I think we all knew he wouldn be the best pound for pound fighter in the world, but he was exciting. Hatton wont retire young, he loves it too much. Being irish i never got the full excitement out of hatton but id say he provided ye english boys with some good saturday nights. Fair play to him and wish him all the best

dean07
I was there when Hatton beat Kosta Tszyu to win the title in Manachester. He has been the best at that weight for 4 years. Manny is a freak of nature to move up so many weight divisions yet still be so strong and explosive. Mayweather has the beating of him depending at which weight they fight. people forget Manny has lost 3 times. The fact is Hatton has been to the well to many times and his lifestyle has finaly taken it's toll. He should retire as people will remember him as the great champion which he is. However some fighters just can't walk away and their heart rules their head.
GW80
Personally i think he should retire now! He is past 30 now and he hasn't looked after himself properly as a top boxer should! Don't get me wrong i have the most upmost respect for the guy, but when i saw a picture of him falling of a bar stool in spain a couple of years ago, i knew then he should have retired! Top class fighters can't put themselves through that without causing damage, yes he get's himself in great shape for a fight but i can't help thinking what he may have achieved if he hadn't needed to get over the partying! again just my tuppence worth but with boxing it is the ultimate in physical fitness and endurance and talent which count!! dean07
on the subject of Froch wanting to fight Calzaghe......... I'll have a pint of what he's drinking please landlord!
dean07
Hatton is following in the footsteps of George Foreman and launching his own kitchen appliances. However no one will by the toaster as it can't do two rounds!
Hoskinz
Time to retire me thinks, he has had a good career but it has shown when he has looked for the bigger better fighter he cant handle, i know his heart will rule his head but he needs to think logically and call it a day
pyr8
he should go into promoting fights as he as indicated.
vole
Retire, definitely. The look on his face just before round 2 was that of a beaten man. In contrast with the expression on Carl Froch's boat coming out for the last round with Taylor;he looked like he had a cheeky surprise up his sleeve (check it out). Yep if heart, was all you needed to be a great champ Froch would have it in spades, unfortunelty he has a habit of carrying his hands too low!! Can't do that against the best im afraid!!
