110 bodygrip traps

Recommended Posts

Hiya John

Presuming you mean the 'Conibear' type body grips - I have seen these in the American Fur-Fish Game magazines for the 220 up.

Havent seen these here but should be about - as shown in an article in the above I can usually set the 220s using a bit of rope.

If interested I can see if I still have that issue and get a photocopy of the article to you.

Regards

L

Can you not set them by hand john? There are tools available, tongs, etc but these are mainly for the larger bodygrips used in the states 220. 330, etc

Alrighty, a bit more messing around and I've got the knack of them. Bloody hell, wouldn't want to get my fingers caught in there ???

Just so you know John a 220 smarts ??? , a 330 is exruciating ??? especially if you have one fire under water and get both your hands in it ??? ! Trust me you will only do it once  ...a 110 they are nothing

Oh and in 36 years of trapping I have only ever fired two traps by mistake a 220 and a 330.......
