Sorry missed the price bit, added now thanks mark bivvy.

Will add though that didnt put price on because unless somebody can actuall find the time to phone me and speak to me rather than E-mail then they wont be buying a pup off me anyway. If after a phone call that person thinks the pup is to much then no hard feelings and as we all no there is something out their for everyone, the price is only the value I put on my pups and they wont leave me for any less.

cheers Jeff

I wouldn't have thought seeing the pedigree would be too much to ask - personally it's the first thing I would want to see. Regarding the tests, I think anyone breeding a litter of springers should have the common sense to ask that the stud dog is tested for all that Rebel has asked for - there are plenty out there that have been tested and they shouldn't add a premium to the stud fee for having them done.

Cheers

Thanks for your input Gillaroo.

To ask to see pedigree fine.

To want to no the kennel names of champs and ask if all these tests have been done starts smelling of someone who just wants to move the dog on.

To call someone elses dogs in a PM means to me this guy Is not buying a dog off me!

We all no if were honest our dogs shortfalls and work round and put up with them, but never do you call someone elses dog.

Hence the reply.

Cheers Jeff

**Just as a note **

I been breeding these to a superb show & work standard for 18yrs along with another breed for 28yrs , I do know the implications of the wrong dog & bitch mated As your aware , its just not 'Joes bitch & Danny dog ' down the street, putting 2 dogs of the same breed together !! ..

Its Just not fair on the breed or dogs . :good: As for too many champs wether ft ch or kc ch & narrow blood lines is not a bonus either.

Some of my dogs are exported worldwide , & are reknown for fitness, work & there capabilities.

Sorry if I ask too much, good luck with your sale

Hi Jeff.

The info regarding kennel names will all be on the pedigree anyway and anyone who knows much about springers should be able to get an idea of the dog's characteristics and potential from this. Having too many recent FTCH's would put me off to be honest as it could just be a little speed machine for trials.

Good luck with the sale and hopefully you'll find the right home.

Cheers

No Problem Gillaroo.

Starting to think im on the wrong site to be honest!

This dog is well bred, f.t.c.h.clarburgh art is his grandad.

The dog I used on my bitch has won 3 c.o.m in novice trials but to be honest possibly lacks the pace for trials.

This dog is his fathers son, I also own his grandmother.

I do not trial just pick up and beat on local shoots at least twice a week.

This dog is what I said a steady beating, rough shooters dog and is laid back enough to sit at peg and in a hide.

Their is only one guy on here who so far has had the decency to phone me and I was honest with him and told him I dont think this dog has the pace to trial.

If he did I would probably keep him as I am looking for another beating dog with pace.

Why dont I keep him for picking up? well got a cracking lab and this dogs grandmother is one of the best game finders you will come across. Yes shes a spaniel and doesnt do the long marked retrieves as good as a lab or has the same pace, let alone the size and strength but she has found birds that some very good labs have missed including my own!

Plus I am keeping a lab pup out the litter I have just bred to train as a picking up dog so dont really want a spaniel that thinks hes a lab.

Thanks guys No hard feelings Jeff
