henry d
Here you go, tried them twice and they are tasty and foolproof. 4 1/2oz - 125gm Soft marg or butter(plus a dab for greasing) 6oz - 175gm plain flour 1tsp baking powder 3oz - 85gm demarara sugar 5 level Tbspn caster sugar 1 large egg 4 1/2oz - 125gm choccy chips grated zest of one orange(wash it first) Preheat oven to 190(170 for fan ovens) gas5 Grease 2 baking trays. Put all ingredients in a bowl, except for the choccy ! and beat together. When combined mix in chips. Put a round balls about the size of a table tennis ball onto the tray, you should get about 9 on a tray as they spread out, flatten slightly. Bake for about 12 minutes, they should be slightly golden. Use a pallette knife or similar to lift them onto a wire rack, they will be very floppy so be careful !! Enjoy !!!
