Fuji Shooter
Hi Does anyone know if there there is a gun dog rescue/rehomeing service available We are looking for an older retired dog to come and live with our 6 year old lab. He loves other dogs but a puppy would get right on his nerves. Thought about a puppy but would love to help an older dog out and give him a loving home. All of the local rescues around here seem to be full of Greyhounds. Is there such a place?

rickyspringer
theoritacally these are just a basic rescue, I thought the thread was intended for ex working dogs which are now retired and so on, I now have a contact in Liverpool who trains gundog breeds for Police work and so on, he has failed dogs which aren't crazy enough or ball mad, which would be better suited to gundog home or pet home, if anyone is interested get intouch, he will have something you are after, his stock is changing daily. These dogs need a good home.
