Highlander Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 Do they really kill honey bee's .All is set for tonight,when its dark small piece of wood over hole held there with a bit of tape,bird box into hessian sack tided at the top.Mate holds box in upright position whilst I drive to the farm.Open bag remove piece of wood and run for van.East eh what can go wrong :lol: Well obviously something did as you haven't posted on here today! Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 i always thought that hornets were quite rare in this country? - The ones i have seen on the contenant are massive - certainyl wouldn't want em anyway near a bairn .............im not scared of much but wasps and hornets really freak me out!!! call in the experts!! al4x Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 they also eat all sorts of Insects so are pretty beneficial to have about and there aren't many about. Really nothing to be scared about even if they are a bit intimidating, we used to get them coming into the house if you had a light on at night and a window open.
