Paul in North Lincs.
Got a call from a farmer this morning to say that the pigeons are tearing into a freshly sprouted field of Linseed. He said that he would be spraying the field tomorrow morning, and would I like to pay a visit in the afternoon. I obviously obliged with a "yes", but wondered if the spraying would put them off for a day or so. Has anyone had any experience of this?? I've never shot over a field that just been sprayed before................Will I be wasting my time??? Paul
Highlander
I would say that after spraying the birds are inclined to leave the field alone for a while. But hey you know pigeons they'll always stick it to u.
Cranfield
It probably depends what he is spraying it with. If you have nothing better to do, pop along and let us know if any pigeons turn up.
