Dunkield
sounds like a plan to me! i am right in thinking i can buy ammo there am i not? i've got a bit of a random selection of .223 at the mo, and no .22lr target ammo. .22 yes no problem target only, I wouldn't bank on anything else though, the 'armoury' isn't all that Sounds like mungler has you boys all organised I can put my feet up now, aaaaaahhhhhhh

leaseone
David told me that the range had been cleared for 22-250 and HMR
Dunkield
You can't use an hmr on the running boar that is a fact. I am not sure you can't use it on the static 50 yard range either, but there is a sign that confirms that. Not sure about the static and running deer either but you can find that out on the day, 100 yards is a long way for a .17 after all What you can and can't use is regulated by the BSRC not BASC. And.. Without wishing to rain on any parades I am fairly sure 22-250 at it's upper limits is outside the muzzle velocity limit of Bisley (I don't have one so I don't realy know/care) Apart from that, you should be fine

leaseone
I was told this morning that 22-250 and HMR have been cleared on the 100yds zero range in between the deer and boar ranges , the one with the benches and chairs. This was cleared last year and shot 22-250 last tuesday on it with Swaroski.
Dunkield
As long as it complies with 2 c 1 here you are alright. http://www.nsc-bisley.co.uk/common/files/r...regulations.pdf What you do, and what you are allowed to do, can be two different things though

Mungler
I reckon I will be taking the Disco - it's slow, but the last time I went on the M25 there wasn't much in the way of over taking opportunities and the M3 had ground to a halt. Mungler
Be at SS Head Quarters for no later than 6.30 a.m. How many men of Herts are coming? There was a rumour of another member of Essex joining us, but if there are 3 men of Herts it will be a squeeze (but do-able) in Mungler cabs. Beardo
that was a fun day, nice to put some faces to the names. i'm bloody knackered now though, but dead chuffed i got 96 in the stalkers test (100 yards, 2 shots prone, 2 shots sitting, 2 shots kneeling, 2 shots standing, 2 shots bench) Big thank you to Mungler for driving, and a little thank you to StuartP for being a **** Ghillie! (very quick to offer his over generous services to the cute girl who was shooting i noticed) Edited June 25, 2009 by nickbeardo
Mungler
Nice darts. Good to meet Nickb and Leaseone for the first time. Got some film footage somewhere if I can be bothered to get it up (oooeerrr). Knackered. Drive home particularly nasty.
