starlight32
500 acres of prairie is good to no man unless there is anything on it. Nice to have a roam on it though.
MerseaDavid
I am sure there will be plenty of crows, rabits and foxes on it
Sqwelchy
Plenty of crows but i dont know if you can eat them ? So i dont shoot them. There alot of rabbits but they scare very easily so their hard to shoot and many foxes but the farmer has no problem with them even though he has a shead load of sheep, plus i dont think i can take one out with an air rifle. Im in the middle of trying to get the permission for the quarry behind it as well I'lll try and get better pics soon Edited June 19, 2009 by Sqwelchy

MerseaDavid
You can eat crows, I have not tried them yet but i entend to some time. The americans eat them quite a bit.
Zapp
I have to say MerseaDavid, I like your "rampant harvester" avatar, I can practically smell the thresh and dust. Of course, the numerous "rampant tittage" avatars are better, but at least yours makes me think of shooting (a gun). ZB

Never been so scared in my like  Yes but it gets the blood circulating doesnt it :look: I have only been rabbit shooting the once so far and that was using a 17HMR, got within 80yds of the rabbit and it never moved to be honest. I dont own one myself as i have SGs and an AAS410. I think reading some other posts on here ref air riffles it is easier to pick your location and lay in wait for them, rather then go off stalking after them, well thats how i undestand it. I suppose to be sorting some rabbits out fo a local hotel shortly and all im going todo is set myself up along the hedge where they are around, and wait for them to pop out. I will set a couple of targets up at different distances so i know where the pellet will hit the target and then just lay and wait for them to come into the target area.... Sqwelchy
I lay and wait in the daytime but im new to night shooting and iv noticed that they dont come out from there normal places. So i just walk up and down the fields, but its very hard to judge ya distance at night.
