robmiller
I believe its only on on evenings in the summer, it may well have stopped now. But think its probably still on on a sunday. You dont ring. You just turn up and pay. £5 for 40 clays or something. Am thinking of going to steve smiths sometime soon if anyone fancies
smiiithy
Going to book a lesson at Steve Smith's on Friday. Do you go to Bebside on the clays these days Rob? I'd be up for a day or two on the clays once I get my gun if you fancy it and in the mean-time I don't mind running the trap for you
robmiller
its an automatic trap anyway mate. Yeah we can get it sorted when you get the gun. Would be much easier then. a lesson at his is v expensive mind!
smiiithy
Ah right didn't realise. Would like to see your shiny new Silver Pigeon in action! How's it treating you? Not planning on having too many lessons but already getting impatient waiting for my SGC - I'm sure you know the feeling from the length of time you've been kept waiting in the past! I think I'll benefit from at least one or two and hoping it will help me in deciding on the right gun. When I get sorted I'll give you a shout and we can break a few clays. dankidd
Oops lol... Shows how much attention I pay! I beleive Steve Smiths got bought over not long ago and its fairly expensive up there now... I started off my shooting there about 12 years ago! Try and get a few of us together and break some clays up there.... I hate arranging things so I shall leave that up to somebody else lol
smiiithy
The lessons was spot on Granted they’re expensive, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot. I think with a bit of practice when I get my SGC I’ll be shooting well
