Libertyandlivelihood
Hi everyone, I am looking for someone to give me a guesstimate price for a cambelt change on a Clio Sport 182 2.0L 16v (54) I am told to get the water pump done at the same time. Any help/advice would be great!! Thanks

Cranfield
Your best bet is to contact lurcherboy, or hope he sees this thread. He is "JD Cambelts" , http://www.jdcambelts.co.uk/
Westcountryman
I payed £90 for my vectra's Cambelt change. About 6 months later, the waterpump went (100k miles ish) and took the cam belt out, aswell as a load of valves and other engine bits. It cost another £850 to repair the damage. Moral of the story, get the water pump changed. If it breaks, it will do more than spill some water on the floor.....

Libertyandlivelihood
Thanks for the quote. Better than the £700 from a local garage or £800 from Renault!! Gives me a guide price to get some more local quotes.
