Diceman
I had a fun day with my guns, a couple of traps and some non shooting mates last weekend and one of them at least is hooked. Trouble is he lives 150 miles away from me in Hazel Grove/Stockport. Can anyone recommend some friendly local strawbalers or registered grounds he can visit to get some tuition, make some friends and generally get started? He is genuinely keen and seems to have a pretty good eye for the clays, has applied for a SGC already and is instinctively safe and sensible with a gun (ex TA) I know how tough it is when you are a newbie on your own, so any advice appreciated. Thanks

Diceman
holy **** I've just had a dig around and found loads of other forums. Whenever I log on I only ever see the "Pigeon Watch Community' ones. I had to log out and re-enter via google to find the rest of them. Must be something to do with the shortcut I use to get here. Will repost on the clayshooting one.

Chard
Tell him to get himself to Worsley. Shouldn't take him long to get there, once he reaches the M60. Mind you, getting from Hazel Grove to the M60 will take best part of a week
