Markio
I had the same question last year as my escort pump is proofed the same (as it would be). Edgar Brothers said it would be fine. For memory the 1200kg equates to something like 1187bar but 1200kgs is quoted by Hatsan. You have STEEL SHOT and the Fleur De Ly stamped in the barrel which i think was done in the UK after import, that means you should be ok for steel of the rating you quoted. The 3 1/2" chambered 'wild fowling' escorts are proofed to the same. I'm sure the owners of these guns put hi performance steel through those! Funny when i asked the same question last year i can't remember anyone simple saying, "Yes, i have put X carts of that rating through my gun". Oh i've only shot ONE steel cart through mine, it's still in one peice and so am i.

You will be fine, absolutley fine. I have shot hundreds of gamebore 36g steel mammoth's through two escort semi's. 1370 bar is high performance steel proof and basically that is the standard for 3" High performance steel. Alas, I shoot an Escort no longer as I decided to move up the social ladder and bought a Lanber.........
EastSussexLad
Thanks for that, put my mind at rest now. Wouldnt we all like to move up that "social ladder" but not having all the dosh to spend on a nice gun some of us have to settle with a low budget gun.
