tweedledee
guys would anyone be able to give me a rough value of my winchester super x2. automatic.i`m thinking of selling it to fund another gun.it is a sporting clays model with 28" multichokes.it is boxed with manuals and all chokes with it.some chokes were never even used.it is about 3 years old and is in 99.9% condition, cleaned each time it was used.i`m going to take it to a few local rfd`s in the morning and i`d like a rough idea of it`s value. Guest topshot_2k
well i have seen Mint second hand Winchester SX3's going for £500-£550 so it wont be worth as much as them. I would be interested in it but its too far
Gordon R
About 18 months ago a friend bought one as new for £400. I would think it was worth less than that.
bullet boy
I`d say between £300-£400.
tweedledee
ouch that`s scary.i would hold on to it before i`d take that for it. gun is as new and if thats all its worth it will take me a fortune to change.
tweedledee
well i phoned a few dealers there.one dealer said that winchester were n`t good sellers funny how the sx3 has taken off, same gun in new clothes.he then told me unless it`s a browning or beretta it is n`t worth scrap. 2 mins later he`s trying to sell me a hatsan escort.funny how every time you take something to a dealer it`s worthless and when he is selling it`s worth a fortune.well my x2 has been with me on countless forays and works 100% of the time without any fails.think i`ll just hold on to it.i was quoted £890 for another franchi raptor so if my auto is only worth £400 odd i reckon i would be as well holding on to it and buying another shotty for in round £500 later in the year Edited July 22, 2009 by tweedledee

Also the winchester SX2 is the same action as the browning Phoenix semi auto. Why do you want to sell it for another franchi?
tweedledee
the franchi was a great hide gun.think the franchi is a lot lighter and easier to swing.probably just a notion.
